The Dakine Campus 33L is a frameless daypack aimed squarely at commuting and travel rather than backcountry use — it carries no hip belt, no hydration compatibility, no trekking pole or ice axe attachments, and no compression straps, none of the features that mark out a hiking-specific pack. Its four compartments are accessed through a front-panel J-zip and include a padded 15-inch laptop sleeve, a sunglasses pocket, and a key clip, all built from 600D recycled polyester with a DWR finish and YKK zippers throughout. At 760 g for 33 L, its weight-per-liter figure (around 23 g/L) is light for a pack this feature-rich, helped by the frameless construction and simple s-curved shoulder straps rather than a padded back system built for load-bearing. Two stretch-mesh side pockets and internal organization pockets round out the layout. This is a pack for daily carry, city errands, or as an around-town or flight companion on a trip — not for multi-day trekking, where the lack of a hip belt and load-bearing frame would show up quickly under any real pack weight.
