The women's Granite Gear Blaze 60 shares its build with the men's model, but the Re-Fit hip belt, shoulder straps, and Air Current frame are tuned for a women's fit – a shorter strap spacing and a different hip belt angle. At 1,361 g for 60 l, the volume-to-weight ratio comes out to 44.1 l/kg, essentially matching the men's version.
The pack body uses 100D Robic nylon with a DWR finish, reinforced with 210D Robic UHMWPE ripstop at wear points, so it holds up under load on multi-day routes and rougher terrain. The main compartment opens from the top lid or a front J-zip, which is useful for reaching gear packed near the bottom without unloading everything from above.
The removable lid clips on as a standalone chest pack for short side trips from camp. The padded hip belt and load lifters keep the load close to the body. There's no integrated rain cover, so a separate one is worth packing, though the bag is hydration-reservoir compatible.
