The Granite Gear Crown3 40 ECO Women's is an ultralight pack built from recycled Regen Robic nylon (100D/210D) with a DWR finish, weighing 1,040 g at 40 l – about 26 g per liter, noticeably lighter than a conventional trekking pack of similar size. A removable HDPE framesheet lets you strip weight down for lighter trips or keep it in for support up to the rated 15.9 kg load capacity. The hip belt and shoulder straps are shaped for a women's fit, with a 46–53 cm torso range and a 61–102 cm hip belt range, covering a wide range of body sizes. Hip belt pockets, stretch-mesh side and front pockets, and side compression straps keep the load stable even when the pack isn't full. The main compartment closes with a roll-top and is also accessible through the top lid, which detaches to be worn on its own as a lumbar pack. The combination of low weight, recycled materials, and detachable components makes it a good fit for hikers moving from classic trekking loads toward a lighter, multi-day style.
