Hyperlite Mountain Gear Bottle Pocket

The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Bottle Pocket is an add-on bottle holder that clips onto a pack's shoulder strap via Gatekeeper hitch locks attached to daisy chain webbing — no sewing or permanent mounting required. At just 34 g, it's one of the lightest ways to keep water within arm's reach without removing the pack or reaching for a side pocket on the main body. A combination of DCF50 fabric, stretch Dyneema mesh, and 1/8" foam holds the pocket's shape even with an empty bottle while still accommodating different bottle diameters. Capacity of roughly 0.9 L covers common cycling and hiking bottles; the weight-to-volume ratio (around 37 g/L) naturally runs higher than on a full-size pack, since fixed elements like the hitch clips and binding make up a larger share of the total weight on a small accessory. The pocket works on any pack with daisy-chain webbing on the shoulder strap, not just HMG models, and suits day hikes and multi-day treks where quick access to water without stopping matters.
