The Pack Accessory Straps are a simple hardware accessory rather than a standalone pack: two sets of four straps made from 3/4-inch polyester webbing with side-release buckles and tri-glides, weighing 60 g in total. They are designed to thread through the daisy-chain webbing found on HMG and most other ultralight packs, giving hikers a way to lash bulky external gear — snowshoes, a sleeping pad, an ice axe — to the outside of the pack without adding internal volume or committing to permanent attachment points. Because they attach via daisy chain loops rather than proprietary mounts, they work across brands as long as the target pack has compatible webbing.
