The Kelty Redwing 36 is a versatile 36-liter hiking pack with an internal frame and a spring-steel perimeter stay that keeps its shape even when the load isn't packed evenly. The AMP-Flow back panel uses tensioned mesh to hold the pack away from your back and improve airflow, which matters most in warmer weather or on faster-paced hikes. A hybrid U-zip opens the main compartment from the top lid or the front panel, making packing and mid-load access easier. At 1,160 g and about 32.2 g per liter, it's on the lighter side for its volume class. The 420D polyester build, one front pocket plus two side pockets, hydration compatibility, and a padded hip belt with pockets make it a solid choice for day hikes, weekend treks, and travel.
