Description
The GSI Halulite Boiler 1.1 L is a hard-anodized aluminium pot weighing 226 g, built as the main cook vessel for a solo hiker. The 1.1 L capacity covers boiling water for dehydrated meals or cooking simple dishes for one person, and can stretch to cover two people on a shorter trip.
Its internal dimensions (127 mm diameter, 122 mm height) are sized so a 110 g gas canister and a stove pack inside it, collapsing the whole cook setup into a single compact bundle instead of three loose items rattling around the pack. The folding handle locks in the open position for safer handling of a hot pot, and the set includes a lid and a mesh stuff sack.
The hard-anodized surface resists scratching and cleans up more easily than bare aluminium, though at over 200 g the Boiler sits closer to standard than ultralight cookware — lighter options exist for a purely minimalist solo setup, but few match its trick of nesting the canister and stove inside.
