MSR Trail Lite 1.3L Pot

The MSR Trail Lite 1.3L Pot is a hard-anodized aluminium pot with 1.3 litres of capacity, sized for one to two people on the trail. Hard-anodized aluminium conducts and spreads heat faster and more evenly than titanium, so it is a better pick for actual cooking — simmering sauces or rehydrating food on the pot — rather than just boiling water. Internal markings every 0.5 litres let you measure water without a separate cup. The lid is included, and the folding handle locks in place and is insulated, so you can lift the pot straight off a hot stove without a separate pot grip. Aluminium is heavier than titanium for the same volume, so if shaving grams matters more than cooking performance, a titanium pot of similar size is the lighter option. At 1.3 l it works for one person eating well or two people sharing light meals, but is tight for cooking for a larger group.
