The Adventure Menu Zipper-bag is a reusable heating pouch for warming meals without a stove, meant to be used together with a self-heating capsule and cold water. At just 5 g, it is one of the lightest components in the whole cook system — a negligible addition to pack weight. It is made from heavy-duty plastic with four vents for releasing steam during the chemical reaction inside, and is rated for roughly 30 uses before it needs replacing. That makes it a consumable rather than single-use part of the system — enough for a typical weekend or multi-day trek's worth of heating, though a longer thru-hike would call for a replacement or a spare carried along. On its own, without a capsule and food, the bag does nothing; it functions purely as the vessel in which the reaction and heating happen, so it only makes sense as a companion to Adventure Menu's self-heating capsules and meals rather than as a standalone cooking solution.
