The FlipFuel is a 35 g device for transferring gas between two isobutane-propane canisters, letting you combine the leftover fuel from several partially-used canisters into one instead of packing multiple half-empty ones on a trip. It is a practical fix for the common problem of ending up with a drawer full of near-empty canisters that are each too light to trust for a multi-day trip but too full to throw away.
Its only real limit is that both canisters need to be the same threaded valve type common to isobutane-propane mixes, and it does not create fuel - it only consolidates what you already have, so it will not turn two empty canisters into one useful one.
