Description
This TOAKS wood stove burns twigs, pine cones, and other biomass instead of canister gas or liquid fuel — three titanium panels slot together into a small chimney that channels airflow to keep the fire burning hot and clean. At 225 g it is heavier than a simple alcohol or canister stove, and it needs pots with at least a 95 mm base diameter to sit stably on top, so check your existing cookware before buying.
Because fuel is gathered on the trail, it removes the weight and resupply hassle of carrying canisters on long trips, but it depends on finding dry burnable wood — it is a poor match above the treeline, in wet conditions, or where fires are restricted. It folds flat for storage and comes with a carry bag, and suits wooded, lower-altitude trekking where an open flame is not banned.
