Description
The Sea to Summit Pocket Shower is a 10 L solar camp shower built from black 70D nylon, weighing 120 g. The dark fabric absorbs sunlight to warm the water passively — leave it filled in direct sun for a few hours and the contents heat up without fuel or a pump.
It includes a contoured shower head with a twist on/off valve, so flow can be stopped mid-rinse to conserve water without holding the bag at an angle, and a 6 m hang cord for suspending it from a branch or trekking pole at a height that gives reasonable pressure through gravity alone. Being fully collapsible, it packs down to almost nothing when empty and doubles as a dry sack when not in use, helping justify carrying it on trips where a shower is a nice-to-have rather than a necessity.
At 120 g for 10 L capacity, it is a reasonable weight trade for basecamp or multi-day trips in warm climates, though output depends entirely on available sun and it cannot heat water on cold or overcast days.
