Sea to Summit Clothesline

The Sea to Summit Clothesline is a compact, pegless travel clothesline aimed at campers and backpackers who don't want to carry a separate bag of clothes pegs. The mechanism is simple: two 3.5 m reflective cords are twisted together with sliding rubber beads, and you pinch fabric between the strands to hold it in place — no pegs to lose or fumble with in the dark. At 26 g and packed into a tiny nylon pouch, it adds almost nothing to pack weight or volume, which is really the whole point of an item like this. The reflective cord also makes the taut line easier to spot around camp at dusk, useful on multi-day trips where laundry often has to dry overnight between towns.
