Description
The Deejo Black 37g coralwood is an ultralight folding knife from Deejo's Black line, tipping the scales at 37 g. Its 9.5 cm Z40C13 stainless blade is 9 mm thick with a hardness around 55 HRC — parameters typical of a softer stainless alloy that sharpens easily but won't hold an edge as long as premium powder steels. The blade carries a black titanium-finish coating that adds scratch resistance and a low-key look.
The handle is coralwood (padauk), giving the knife a warm color and a comfortable grip without meaningful added weight. It opens manually via a nail nick, measures 205 mm open and 110 mm closed, and comes with a removable pocket clip. A liner lock holds the blade securely once deployed.
Given its low weight, this is best suited as a secondary tool for light trail and camp tasks — cutting cord, opening food packaging — rather than a primary knife for heavier outdoor work.
