The Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2 Footprint is a purpose-cut accessory for the two-person Seedhouse SL2 tent. It is made from ripstop nylon with a 1200 mm PU coating, giving solid protection against ground moisture as well as abrasion resistance against gravel, roots and sand. At 223 cm it matches the tent's floor dimensions, so it will not overhang the edges and collect rainwater. At 170 g it sits in the lighter end of the footprint category. Paired with the fly in a Fast Fly setup (fly plus footprint, no inner tent), it lets you cut pack weight noticeably for short summer trips or insect-free bivvy nights. It is tent-specific, though, so it cannot double as a general-purpose ground sheet for other shelters. It suits Seedhouse SL2 owners who want to extend the floor's service life on rocky or gravelly terrain, or who occasionally want to travel lighter with just the fly.
