Big Agnes Shield 2 Footprint

The Big Agnes Shield 2 Footprint is a custom-cut groundsheet made specifically for the Big Agnes Shield 2 tent, placed under the tent floor to take the abrasion from rocks, roots and grit instead of the tent's own fabric. It is not a universal footprint - the cut matches the Shield 2's floor plan. Using it extends the working life of the tent floor and is a cheap insurance policy against punctures on rough or gravelly pitches, at the cost of a bit of extra pack weight and a slightly longer pitch. Worth carrying for camping on abrasive ground; skippable on soft grass or established tent platforms.
