The Sea to Summit Alto LightFoot Footprint is a tent-specific ground sheet cut to match the floor of the Alto TR1 and TR2 tents, made from 68D polyester with a 1200 mm water column — enough to handle ground moisture without adding a heavier tarp fabric's bulk. Being cut to the inner tent's exact footprint means it won't fit other tents or double as a general-purpose ground sheet, and it doesn't extend beyond the tent's edges to catch runoff the way an oversized tarp would. Its function is protecting the tent floor from abrasion and punctures on rough ground rather than adding extra weather protection. It's aimed at Alto TR1 or TR2 owners who regularly pitch on rocky, sandy, or otherwise abrasive terrain and want to keep wear off the tent's own floor rather than repair or replace it later.
