The hammock itself weighs 215 g and measures roughly 300 × 140 cm when hung, offering enough diagonal lay space for taller users to sleep close to flat. Load capacity is rated well over 130 kg, leaving margin for heavier hikers or gear stashed inside the hammock overnight. Suspension straps are not included and need to be bought separately, and the hammock has no integrated bug net or ridgeline — both are add-ons if you want them. It is compatible with an underquilt, so it can form the base of a full three-season or winter sleep system. For thru-hiking through forested terrain with reliable trees, this is a very light foundation for a sleep system; in open or treeless terrain the whole hammock approach breaks down, so anyone counting on it needs a backup shelter plan for above-treeline stretches.
