The Big Agnes Anvil Horn 30° is the lighter sibling of the winter-rated Anvil Horn 0°, aimed at three-season use with a -1°C temperature rating. Insulation is 650-fill-power down treated with DownTek, which keeps more loft than untreated down once it picks up moisture — useful on damp spring and autumn trips. At 964 g with 340 g of down fill, it's a noticeably lighter build than the winter version, packing down to a compact 18×13 cm. The full-length left-side zip opens one way, but a compatible zipper lets it couple with a second bag. An internal pocket and a pair of storage bags — a stuff sack for the trail, a larger one for home storage — are practical touches over repeated use. Shell fabric is DWR-treated, bluesign-certified polyester ripstop with no PFC treatment, sized for users up to 183 cm. Given the weight savings over the 0° model, it suits shoulder-season backpacking better than genuine winter conditions, where its rating is closer to a survival floor than a comfort zone.
