The 850-fill hydrophobic down, weighing 644 g, is the highest quality in the Lost Ranger line, and at 1328 g total this variant posts the best warmth-to-weight figures — 83 g per degree, ahead of the heavier 3N1 0° and 15° siblings. Shell and liner are both ultralight DWR-treated nylon ripstop, and vertically oriented sewn-through baffles keep weight down. The zipper runs down the center for three-quarters of its length rather than along the side as on other models in the line — a practical detail for quicker entry and exit.
