The Feathered Friends Peregrine EX -25 is an expedition bag for extreme winter conditions on the scale of Denali or Everest, where a manufacturer limit rating of -32°C leaves little room for compromise. With 1059 g of 900+ fill power goose down and a total weight of 1768 g, it's the heaviest but also the warmest bag in this line-up.
The Pertex Shield EX shell combines 15D and 40D ripstop fabric into a waterproof/breathable membrane tough enough for high-abrasion contact points, and box-baffle construction keeps the substantial fill evenly distributed despite the loft. A 3D anatomical hood, an internal pocket for small items, and a full-length two-way zipper round out the feature set. Per the maker, it's the widest cut in the entire -25°F line, leaving room to layer clothing underneath.
Made in Seattle, RDS certified, and shipped with a stuff sack and storage sack, the unisex Regular size fits up to 182 cm. This is a bag built strictly for high-altitude expeditions and extreme winter climbs, not for everyday hiking use.
