The Mountain Hardwear Lamina 30F/-1C is a unisex 3-season synthetic mummy bag positioned at the milder end of the Lamina range, with a manufacturer-rated comfort temperature of -1°C and a -3°C lower limit. Like its siblings, it uses the seamless welded Lamina baffle system, here holding 583 g of Thermal.Q synthetic fill inside a 30D nylon ripstop shell with a DWR finish. Total weight is 990 g, with an internal length of 218 cm and 152/140 cm shoulder and hip widths, packing to 8.4 L. Its weight-per-degree figure works out higher than the colder-rated Lamina bags in the same range – a reminder that at milder temperature ratings, fixed weight from the shell, zipper, and hardware makes up a larger share of the total, so the efficiency gain from less insulation is smaller than it might look on paper. A full-length two-way, coupleable zipper lets two compatible bags be joined, and a shaped draft collar seals warmth at the neck. Regular sizing fits users up to 182 cm, and both stuff and storage sacks are included.
