Patizon G800

The Patizon G800 is a winter down bag filled with 800 g of goose down (850 cuin, 90/10 ratio). EN/ISO 23537 testing gives a comfort rating of -10 °C, a limit of -18 °C, and an extreme of -40 °C. Weight ranges from 1,060 to 1,200 g depending on size, with the tested unit at 1,125 g. A lightweight Toray Airtastic shell with a DWR finish keeps total weight lower than a typical winter bag with a comparable fill, and a two-way zip lets you vent without fully opening the bag in cold conditions. A 3D-cut anatomical hood seals around the face. The 37×22 cm packed size (roughly 15 litres) reflects the amount of down inside. A warmth-to-weight ratio of 16 puts the G800 among the more efficient bags in its temperature class — suited to winter treks and bivvies that fall short of expedition extremes but exceed what a summer or three-season bag can handle. It's made in the Czech Republic.
