The Western Mountaineering Everlite is an ultralight summer bag weighing 411 g, filled with 184 g of 850+ fill power goose down. Its manufacturer-rated limit of 7°C puts it squarely in warm-night territory, or use it as an overbag layered on top of a thinner bag when conditions turn cooler. Sewn-through baffle construction is standard at this weight, minimizing mass at the cost of minor cold spots along the seams — a non-issue for a summer-only bag. The 12D nylon ripstop shell with a 10-15D taffeta liner is extremely light but has no water-resistant treatment, so plan on a dry tent or tarp. A full-length, dual-slider zipper on both sides opens the bag flat like a quilt for ventilation on warm nights. Unlike the winter bags in the range, it skips the insulated draft collar and draft tube — a sensible weight trade-off for a summer piece.
