Gramino Ultralight Sit Pad

The Gramino Ultralight Sit Pad is a closed-cell foam pad measuring 36 x 26 cm and 1.5 cm thick, weighing 27 g, with an R-value of 1.8. It folds accordion-style for storage and unfolds instantly for a dry, insulated spot to sit on rock, snow or wet ground during breaks. Beyond its main job as a sit pad, the R-1.8 rating is high enough to add meaningful insulation under a sleeping pad on cold nights, or to use as a doorstep mat for getting in and out of a tent without bringing mud or snow onto your sleeping gear. At 27 g it is one of the lighter ways to solve the cold-ground problem on breaks, though its small footprint means it will not double as a full sleeping pad on its own.
