Gossamer Gear

Gossamer Gear is among the pioneers of ultralight hiking in the USA. The company was founded in 1998 and has focused from the start on maximum weight reduction without unnecessary compromises in comfort. Their Mariposa, Gorilla, and Kumo backpacks are legendary on American long-distance trails - the PCT, AT, and CDT. Gossamer Gear also offers some of the lightest carbon trekking poles (LT5) and foam sleeping pads (Thinlight, 1/8" pad). The brand is synonymous with the 'carry less, do more' philosophy.
