Deuter Aircontact Core 45+10 SL

The Deuter Aircontact Core 45+10 SL is the women's version of Deuter's trekking pack, with a total capacity of 55 L (45 L main plus a 10 L extension collar) at 2030 g. The Aircontact back system uses full-contact padding on an aluminum frame, which transfers load to the shoulders and hips more directly than mesh-suspended designs, at the cost of somewhat less airflow in warm conditions. Torso length adjusts from 35 to 56 cm, matching the shorter SL (slim/short) fit. The main fabric combines 500D textured polyamide with a bluesign®-certified 235D recycled variant. The pack includes a chest strap, load lifters, a front pocket, two side pockets, hydration-reservoir compatibility, and an integrated rain cover, so nothing extra needs buying separately. A volume-to-weight ratio of 27.1 L/kg and 36.9 g per liter place the Core 45+10 SL among classic, durable trekking packs rather than ultralight ones — suited to multi-day treks where comfort and carrying capacity matter more than shaving grams.
