Deuter Aircontact Core 60+10 SL

The Deuter Aircontact Core 60+10 SL is the women's version of the trekking pack, with a total capacity of 70 L (60 L main plus 10 L extension) at 2150 g. A Y-shaped internal aluminum frame paired with the padded Aircontact back system transfers load through the adjustable-torso VariSlide system — built for multi-day treks carrying heavier loads rather than fast, ultralight travel. Access to the main compartment comes via both a top lid and a front J-zip, which makes packing without unloading everything from the top easier. The main fabric combines 500D textured nylon with bluesign®-certified 235D recycled polyamide. Unlike some sibling models in the Core range, this pack does not include an integrated rain cover, so a separate rain protection needs to be carried. Its volume-to-weight ratio of 32.6 L/kg and 30.7 g per liter is somewhat more favorable than the smaller Core models — the larger capacity here carries relatively more efficiently for its weight.
