The Deuter Aircontact Core 65+10 is a men's-specific trekking pack with 75 L total capacity (65 L main plus 10 L extension) at 2273 g, aimed at multi-day treks of six nights or more and edging into mountaineering use. Dual aluminum stays paired with the padded Aircontact system and S-curved shoulder straps carry loads up to a rated 20 kg, with torso length adjustable from 42 to 62 cm. The main fabric (500D textured / 235D recycled polyamide) uses a PFC-free DWR coating, making it a somewhat more environmentally conscious choice without giving up water resistance. Features include a sleeping-bag compartment, two ice-axe loops, side loops for trekking poles, top-and-bottom compression straps, stretch-mesh side and front pockets, hip belt pockets, an internal valuables pocket, and an integrated rain cover. A volume-to-weight ratio of 33 L/kg and 30.3 g per liter makes it the most efficient model in the Core range by that measure, though it remains a robust trekking pack rather than an ultralight one.
