The Mountain Hardwear AMG 75 Pack is a technical mountaineering and ski-touring pack at 75 liters, sitting in the AMG line between the 55 L and 105 L siblings. Like the rest of the series, its 7000-series aluminum stay frame and 200D Spectra Ripstop Nylon TPU shell with an 840D carbonate nylon base are chosen for abrasion resistance on rock and ice.
At 2186 g, that works out to 29.1 g per liter — between the smaller AMG 55's 38.1 g/l and the larger AMG 105's 22.2 g/l, confirming the pattern that larger packs in this line carry proportionally less frame weight per liter of capacity.
The pack includes a crampon pocket, storage for avalanche tools, and an A-frame ski carry system, which extends its use across mountaineering, multi-day trekking, and ski touring. A pivoting, padded hip belt with pockets and load-lifter straps keep heavy loads stable. Main compartment access is top-lid only, and there's no integrated rain cover.
