Forclaz MT900 Symbium 70+10 L Men's

The largest pack in Decathlon's Forclaz MT900 line, the SYMBIUM 70+10L scales up to an 80 L nominal capacity (70 L main plus a 10 L top extension) at 2,720 g, with dimensions (77 × 48 × 38 cm) that mark it as expedition-class gear rather than a weekend pack. Unlike the tensioned-mesh back on the 50+10L sibling, this version uses a padded, direct-contact back panel on aluminum stays — better suited to stabilizing heavier, bulkier loads than to maximizing airflow. The defining feature is the SYMBIUM hip belt, which articulates with the hips to follow natural walking motion, paired with load-lifter straps and two ice-axe loops for mountaineering-adjacent use. Access combines a top lid with a front-panel J-zip, and the short description notes ten organization pockets spread across the pack, well beyond the pocket count typical of smaller siblings. At around 34 g per liter, it's lighter per liter than the 50+10L SYMBIUM despite carrying more total volume and gear, though at nearly 2.7 kg it's clearly built for extended, heavily loaded expeditions rather than fast-and-light trekking.
