The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Versa is an ultralight crossbody-and-waist pack in one, made from Dyneema Composite Hybrid DCH50 (3.5 oz/yd²), a laminate fabric that is highly water-resistant without stitched seams. At just 83 g (without strap) and 2.25 L, it is a supplementary carry for items a hiker wants immediate access to — phone, map, snacks, keys.
Two zippered compartments with YKK zippers and an internal mesh divider keep small items separated, the front pocket has its own zipper, and a key clip is built in. Top access runs through a lid opening. There are no side pockets, and the hip strap is unpadded webbing only, reflecting a design focused on minimal weight rather than carrying heavier loads. The Versa clips onto a larger pack's hip belt or works as a standalone bag — useful for day trips, as a supplement on thru-hikes, or while traveling, when quick access to valuables without removing the whole pack matters.
