Main volume of 55 litres plus 9.8 litres of external mesh pockets brings total capacity to 64.8 litres, at a weight of 907 g — only slightly heavier than the smaller Windrider 40 despite the extra 15 litres, which pushes the weight-per-litre figure down to around 14 g/L, among the more efficient ratios in the range. Construction mirrors the 40-litre White model: a DCH50 body with a DCH150 reinforced base, removable aluminium stays, and a contact-padded back panel. Notably, this size drops side compression straps entirely and adds a daisy chain for lashing gear externally. Internal pockets, hydration-sleeve compatibility and two stretch-mesh side pockets carry over, though shoulder strap pockets are again absent. With an 18.1 kg load rating, the Windrider 55 suits longer resupply stretches and shoulder-season trips where volume matters more than absolute minimalism.
