The Kelty Redwing 50 is a 50-liter trekking and travel pack with an adjustable torso length and an HDPE framesheet paired with a single aluminum stay. The contact-padded back and five compartments with panel-loader access make it easier to organize gear on longer trips, when you don't want to dig through the whole pack for one item. Three zippered front pockets, two mesh side pockets, hip belt pockets, and internal pockets give you places to keep smaller items within reach. At 1,660 g and about 33.2 g per liter, it lands among the more balanced packs in the lineup — not the lightest, but with a reasonable ratio of features to weight. The 420D/450D polyester fabric with a DWR finish sheds light rain, hydration compatibility is built in, and side compression straps help cinch down volume when it's not fully loaded.
