The Kelty Redwing 50 USA is a 51-liter multi-use hiking pack made in the USA, built around a LightBeam aluminum stay and a contact-padded back panel. The 500D Cordura Nylon construction stands up to everyday trail abrasion and repeated loading and unloading, and the main compartment opens either from the top or through the front panel, depending on what you need to grab first. At 1,660 g and about 32.5 g per liter, it's on the lighter side within the Redwing tactical lineup, despite using the same tough Cordura fabric as the Tactical version. Two side pockets, one ice axe loop, hydration compatibility, and a padded hip belt with pockets make it a practical choice for multi-day treks and travel, where domestic manufacturing and solid construction matter more than shedding every gram.
