The Kelty Strike 2300 is a 38-liter (37.7 L, to be precise) tactical-inspired hiking pack built on dual LightBeam aluminum stays instead of a conventional internal frame. Breathable spacer mesh on the back keeps the pack off your body, and the removable padded hip belt with pockets lets you adjust the carry to suit the load. The main compartment opens through a front J-zip combined with a top lid. At 1,928 g and about 51.1 g per liter, it's among the heaviest packs of this volume in the Redwing/Strike lineup — the 500D/1000D nylon fabric prioritizes durability over shaving weight. One front pocket, two side pockets, hydration compatibility, and no built-in rain cover fit a more field-oriented, tactical use case than an ultralight hiking style. It suits multi-day treks and travel where toughness matters most. It's offered in black only.
