The Kelty Strike 2300 USA is a 38-liter (37.7 L) tactical-inspired hiking pack made in the USA from 500D/1000D nylon. Unlike some of its Strike siblings, it opens the main compartment through the front panel only, with no top lid — a simpler, more direct design. The carrying structure relies on LightBeam™ aluminum stays and a breathable Spacermesh back panel, while a removable padded hip belt lets you adjust how the load rides. At 1,956 g and about 51.9 g per liter, it's the heaviest pack for its volume among the Redwing and Strike models covered here, the trade-off for a rugged build and domestic manufacturing. One front pocket, two side pockets, and hydration compatibility round out a pack aimed at multi-day treks where durability comes first. It's available in brown, camo, and black.
