At 70.8 L, the Mystery Ranch Glacier is built for expedition-length mountain trips rather than standard trekking — the kind of load where you're carrying technical gear alongside a multi-day kit. The internal Astral Frame and contact-padded back panel are paired with load lifters for managing a heavy, top-loaded pack, and at 2900 g (41 g per liter) the pack itself is built for durability under load rather than minimal weight. The 500D CORDURA fabric is considerably heavier-duty than the recycled nylon used on the lighter Bridger series, a sensible trade for a pack meant to handle glacier travel and mountaineering rather than groomed trails. A Speedzip compartment gives dedicated access to a sleeping bag, and the convertible lid adds flexibility once at camp. Two ice axe loops and side pockets round out the feature set, but there's no front pocket, so quick-access storage relies entirely on the hip belt and lid.
