The Zpacks Arc Haul Ultra 60L is the larger member of the Arc Haul line, offering 60 L of capacity (47 L main compartment) at 624 g — just a few grams more than the 50 L version but with noticeably more room. It follows the same design as the rest of the range: a curved carbon Arc Frame supporting a tensioned mesh back panel. The body is Ultra 100X fabric (a UHMWPE/Dyneema combination), with a roll-top closure backed by a front pocket, two side pockets, a chest strap, and load lifters. The hip belt is padded and includes pockets. The manufacturer rates it for roughly 18 kg, and at 74 × 32 × 20 cm there's room for extended stretches between resupplies. At 10.4 g per liter, this sits among the best weight-to-volume figures in the range — most relevant for thru-hikers who want the capacity of a traditional touring pack without paying for it in weight. The trade-off is the temptation to overpack, which undercuts the point of carrying a carbon frame.
