CNOC QuickCap

The CNOC QuickCap is a small screw-on adapter made from ABS plastic and stainless steel that converts the standard 28mm or 42mm threaded neck on CNOC soft flasks (Vecto, Vesica, Hydriam) into a universal QuickConnect fitting for a hydration tube or straw. Depending on thread size it weighs only 7 to 11 g, so adding it to a hydration setup barely registers on a gear list. The closure is leak-proof, making it a secure substitute for the standard screw cap whenever hands-free drinking from a reservoir tucked in a side pocket is useful. The catch is that it only works within the CNOC ecosystem — the adapter itself does not hold water, and it requires a compatible hose like the CNOC QuickHose plus a bottle with a matching thread. For hikers already running CNOC soft flasks, or anyone who wants tube-based hydration without buying a full new reservoir, it is a cheap, near-weightless way to extend the functionality of gear they already carry.
