The material handles an operational range from −50 °C to +80 °C and is free of BPA, BPS, and BPF, holding up fine both in freezing conditions and when filling with warmer water. A loop on the cap makes it easy to clip to a carabiner or pack strap. Compared to soft flasks like the Vecto, the rigid build gives better stability when set down on uneven ground and easier scooping from a stream, but it can't be collapsed down empty the way a soft bottle can, so it takes up the same pack space whether full or empty.
