Evernew Water Carrier

The Evernew Water Carrier is a collapsible soft flask made from 3-layer BPA-free polyethylene (PETE), designed to squeeze flat when empty and stand on its own gusseted base when full. At roughly 43 g, it weighs a fraction of what a rigid bottle of comparable capacity would, which matters when you're carrying two or three water containers for a dry stretch between sources. The screw-cap closure and food-grade, BPA-free construction make it safe for both cold water and hot liquids, and the leak-proof seal holds up under the flexing that soft flasks go through in a pack side pocket. Because it's compatible with Sawyer and similar squeeze filters, it doubles as a dirty-water reservoir for backcountry filtration setups rather than requiring a dedicated dirty bag. The main tradeoff against a rigid bottle is durability against punctures and slightly fiddlier filling from a shallow water source, but for ultralight hikers optimizing base weight, the carrier's low weight and small packed size outweigh that inconvenience on most trips.
