Platypus Platy 2.0L Bottle

The Platypus Platy 2.0L is a collapsible soft-flask style bottle holding 2 litres and weighing just 40 g empty, made from nylon/polyethylene film rather than rigid plastic. Because the body has no fixed shape, it flattens down to almost nothing once emptied — unlike a hard bottle, which keeps its bulk in a pack whether it's full or dry. The screw cap keeps the closure simple, and the BPA- and phthalate-free film covers the basic safety expectations for a hydration container. It works well as backup or bulk water capacity between sources, or as a lightweight option for carrying water into camp, rather than as a bottle you'd squeeze from on the move — the thin film punctures more easily than a hard-sided bottle and won't stand upright on its own once it's more than half empty.
