The Zelph's Stoveworks Fancee Feast Stove is a hand-built alcohol stove made from an aluminum cat-food can, weighing just 24 grams. The pot stand is built directly into the burner body, so there is no separate stand to carry, keeping the whole setup compact. There are no moving parts, valves, or ignition system — it burns denatured alcohol as an open flame, with no way to adjust the flame once lit, so a lighter or match is needed to start it. The fuel cup is refillable, meaning you measure and pour in alcohol according to how much cooking you plan to do at a given stop. Wind resistance is rated poor and the stove ships without any windscreen, so most users pair it with a separate foil or titanium windscreen in the field. Because it has essentially nothing to break and weighs almost nothing, it remains a thru-hiking classic on trails like the PCT or AT, though the lack of simmer control and weak wind performance make it a poor match for cooking in exposed or high-alpine conditions.
