The UCO Switch Spork Eco is a three-piece cutlery set made from recycled polypropylene: a fork, a combined spoon/knife piece, and a tether that joins them together. Each piece measures just under 18 cm on its own, and connected via the tether they reach 26 cm total — long enough to stir food directly inside a freeze-dried meal pouch without getting a hand near the hot contents.
The plastic is BPA-free and the set is both dishwasher- and microwave-safe, so it doubles as everyday cutlery at home, not just on trail. At 27 g it isn't chasing the last gram the way titanium sporks do, but it's a practical, multi-function utensil at a reasonable price.
The pieces don't fold, so the set takes up a bit more room in a kitchen kit than collapsible designs. It makes up for that with versatility — fork, spoon, and knife functions in one package instead of three separate items, which is useful for anyone eating straight out of the pouch.
