Fenix E05

The Fenix E05 is a micro flashlight built to live on a keychain or lid pocket rather than serve as a primary light source. A single AAA cell powers three brightness levels up to 85 lumens peak, enough to find gear in a tent or read a map at close range, with a 45 m beam distance suited to short-throw use. The flood-only beam spreads light wide rather than throwing a tight spot, favoring close-quarters tasks. The body is machined from aircraft-grade aluminium at just 64.5 mm and 11.3 g, light enough to disappear on a keyring, and the IPX8 rating means it survives submersion rather than just splashes – a meaningful margin for a light that ends up in wet pockets or puddles. It runs on a single AAA cell rather than a rechargeable battery, trading convenience for being able to swap batteries anywhere.
