Description
The Nitecore TINI is a miniature keychain light measuring 43 × 25 × 11 mm and weighing 13 g, powered by a built-in 280 mAh battery that charges via Micro-USB — an older standard compared to the USB-C used on newer models in the range, worth noting if you'd rather carry a single cable type. Four output levels range from 1 lm up to a 380 lm maximum.
Runtime on the lowest setting reaches 60 hours, while the full Turbo output lasts only around 15 minutes before the light throttles itself down for thermal protection. The spot-only beam with a 64 m distance suits brief distance lighting better than flooding a campsite, and IPX4 splash resistance handles light rain but not sustained downpours.
The aluminium body has no button lock, so the light can switch on accidentally in a pocket — worth factoring in if you carry it loose on a keychain or in a pack's side pocket, where it may drain between uses.
