Fizan Compact 4

The Fizan Compact 4 is a four-section telescoping trekking pole made from 7001 aluminium, weighing 338 g per pair — one of the lighter options in Fizan's lineup. The extra segment over three-piece designs lets it collapse to just 51 cm, small enough for a pack's side pocket or airline carry-on, while still extending out to 125 cm for taller users. Length is held by Fizan's internal Flexy twist-lock mechanism, paired with an EVA foam grip and an adjustable wrist strap. Tungsten carbide tips bite into rock and hardpack, and two sets of baskets ship in the box, covering both standard trail use and softer ground. The low weight and compact folded length make the Compact 4 a solid pick for thru-hiking and fastpacking, where poles often get stowed away for scrambling sections. Against Fizan's three-section models it trades a touch of shaft stiffness for that shorter packed size — for heavier loads or regular use as tent or tarp support, a beefier three-section pole is the better match.
