At just 148 g, the Copper Spur UL2 (2025) footprint is built from recycled 30D nylon ripstop with HyperBead™ technology, which adds abrasion resistance without resorting to a heavier fabric. Tiplok™ buckles snap it precisely onto the tent's floor perimeter, keeping it from shifting underfoot even in wind. Its main function is enabling Fast Fly pitching — fly, poles and footprint only, no inner body — which suits hikers chasing a minimal weight setup on dry, bug-free stretches of a trip. On standard double-wall nights it works the more conventional way, shielding the tent floor from ground abrasion and moisture and sparing the pricier main floor fabric from wear. It ships in two color options, green and orange, which is a cosmetic distinction only and has no bearing on performance or fit.
