Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3 Footprint (2025)

The official groundsheet for the Copper Spur UL3 weighs 207 g and is made from recycled 30D nylon ripstop with HyperBead™ technology, rated to a 1,500 mm waterproof column for wet ground or sustained rain. At 218 cm it matches the tent's floor length, so it sits flush without overhang or bunching underneath. It shields the tent floor from abrasion caused by rocks, roots and sand while also enabling the Fast Fly setup — fly, poles and footprint only, no mesh inner body — a useful option for bug-free summer stretches where rain protection is all that's needed. Big Agnes lists it as compatible with all Copper Spur UL3 models from 2020 onward, so it isn't limited to the current model year. The 20 × 13 × 5 cm packed size is compact enough to travel alongside the tent itself without adding noticeable bulk.
